Hey guys! Everything is really hard right now, and it may feel like the world is completely on fire, BUT- I just wanna give you all a little reminder that it’s ok to set your phone down. Go do the things you love with people you cherish, create something beautiful, get a coloring book out, put on your favorite childhood tv show, protect your brain. I’m struggling with this quite a bit this week, but- we won’t be able to fight the system and fight for eachother if we are shattered. I don’t know what the future holds with so much evil in the world, but I DO have faith that there are plenty more good souls out there than bad, and that we can and will overcome. Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, compliment a stranger, and spread kindness. It’s all we’ve got 🤍 Give yourself a big hug and log off for a little while ✨ (I also want to note how extremely important it is that we all stay educated and up to date on the news, I just don’t think our brains were made to process this much at the rate that such horrible things are happening). Just wanted to say how thankful I am for tattooing, for all the amazing humans, memories, and life lessons it’s brought my way the last six and a half years. I wouldn’t be who I am without my ability to create art- I never thought that I would be able to support myself, meet my husband and all my best friends, and travel all over the world to get tattooed by the artists I revere just from doing what I love every day- but this career has blessed me with all these things. It’s the hardest job I’ve ever had and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Each day + client + tattoo teaches me something new, and my goal is to never stop learning, to continue to give each and every one of you my 100%, and to give back to tattooing what it has given to me 🤍 I look forward to creating more art with you all this coming year, thank you to each and every one of you for letting me do what I do and for trusting me with your skin- I truly love all of you guys with my whole heart! Love ya so much I married ya twice 🤍 ✨ When we first got engaged and were talking about planning our wedding, we were both immediately drawn to the idea of returning to White Sands in New Mexico. ✨ 5 years ago (to the exact day of our legal marriage here- 9.20- unplanned which is nuts) we tattooed rings of fire on one another~ last slide ;) as a promise that we would grow and cherish one another as twin flames. In that moment, I already knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you so it’s pretty cool that we got to go back and celebrate being married and add another layer to our vows through a hand-fasting ceremony! My twin brother @pitch.a.trent performed the ceremony with a handmade chainmail cord created by my father @mel.grubb just in time for our trip 🤍 I couldn’t ask for a better family or group of friends for celebrating such a special week with us, and for @mckennalarge.co for capturing these moments for us, thank you a million times over! 🤍 If you’ve never been out west, I highly recommend doing so. This trip was beyond magical, White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, Hueco Tanks (didn’t get to go this time but definitely go check it out) and all kinds of other amazing hikes and perfectttt weather in September- what a dream! I’m done posting wedding content for now hehe thanks for reading my novel, we love you guys and appreciate all the kind words from you all!!
