ABOUT ME
INTRODUCTION
I can thank my parents for getting me involved in the tattoo industry.
For as long as I can remember, I've been tagging along with my mom to her tattoo appointments . One of my earliest memories was watching her get a tribal dragon on her forearm from Durb Morrison at Stained Skin in the early 2000's!
My family would go to Hell City and check out all the traveling tattooers and artists, and I immediately fell in love with the industry and all the freaky lil tattoo folks .
Fast forward to March, 2019- I met my tattoo mentor, Gio, and got hired at Evolved Body Art in Columbus, OH. I met my husband there, and over the next 3.5 years I learned countless life and career lessons, connected with some life-changing clients, and honed my fine-line style. I also mastered a rigorous safety and hygiene curriculum which I abide by to this day.
July 2022, I decided to join Mat Franklin's team at Parlor Suites in downtown Columbus, and later in 2024, Old Town East at our new location! I work in a semi-private studio with some of my closest friends and have been able to curate my own space, and learn to be my very own business owner! It was a big change at first, but now I plan on staying in a private studio setting for the time being, so I can focus on exploring new styles and getting back into creating art outside of tattooing.
I can't wait to see where this career takes me, it's the best job in the world and I'm so thankful to be here! Lastly, I wouldn't be here without my supportive friends and clients- you guys make my world go round- thank you for being a major part of this journey!
ART BACKGROUND
Fine art has been my main passion my entire life, way before I got started with my tattooing career. I studied multiple forms of art as well as graphic design at OSU. My work has been featured in the Columbus Dispatch and other publications, and I've participated in multiple art shows and festivals.
My favorite subject matter to draw has always been mandalas; freehand, painted on skateboards, doodled on napkins at a bar- I really just love the radial symmetry and perfectly-imperfect nature of them. I also love the human form, and created a body-positive portrait project titled "Send Nudes" that focuses on helping people celebrate and love their bodies! I have a separate Instagram account for this project if you're interested in checking it out :) Updates on commission openings will be posted on that page.
